Frequently asked questions

Can I enquire without a complete drawing?

Yes. Send a sample, photos and the measurements you trust, plus the mating wheel or reducer reference. Unknown geometry will be flagged for review rather than guessed.

Can I request 1–5 samples?

Yes where the manufacturing route is suitable. One or two pieces can also be quoted, typically at a higher unit cost.

Which trade terms are available?

EXW, FOB, CIF and DAP are commonly supported. FCA, CFR, CPT, CIP and DDP can be discussed for the destination and order structure.

What to send

If you have a complete drawing, attach or reference it and identify the revision. If you only have a worn part, send clear photos, trusted measurements and the mating-wheel or reducer information. If the project is new, tell us the intended ratio, speed/load context and the interfaces that are already fixed.

Do not spend time inventing missing gear data just to complete a form. Mark unknown items as unknown. The technical review is more reliable when measured facts and assumptions are kept separate.

The quotation states the configuration, commercial basis, expected production timing and requested documentation that can be supported.

Where appropriate, a small sample or first article can be used before repeat production.

Approved drawing/model references are used to keep later enquiries tied to the same component identity.

Include the destination country or delivery location when you want EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP or another shipment basis reviewed in the quotation.
