Global procurement
Export planning starts after the part definition is stable
A freight term cannot correct an incomplete shaft definition. The technical quote is closed first—drawing, mating wheel, quantity, inspection and required documents—then the shipment basis is selected for the destination and order size.
The published commercial guidance supports EXW, FOB, CIF and DAP commonly, with FCA, CFR, CPT, CIP and DDP available for discussion. The final quotation is the controlling commercial document.
